THE WEBSITE

The purpose of this website is to promote more humor and laughter for everyone by encouraging individuals and groups to create Humor Libraries for themselves and others.

The website contains the resources for these Humor Libraries, listing the "healthy" humor created over the years in movies, TV, radio, recordings, and books. Humor Libraries mean more laughs at medical facilities such as cancer centers, rehabilitation units, hospitals -- also senior facilities and public libraries. Of course, this material is fun for family and friends at home, too.

We all know laughter is the best medicine, and the Humor library is a fun prescription!

We invite you to browse our free website and use this resource to raise the humor quotient in people's lives -- for more smiles, chuckles, and laughs!

Check out the information on our new "Resource Guide" and our "Library Collections" to help you start a Humor Library.

The Humor Collection website was created by a cancer survivior, and is sponsored by Carolina Health and Humor Association - a non-profit educational, service organization, and speakers' bureau , dedicated to promoting humor and happiness in health care, in the community and in personal lives.
